IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, AMEN. I command my soul into the care of our Almighty Creator and my body unto the soil in order to be buried in accordance with Christian rites, and hereby order as follows:

I give my son, Abraham, and his heirs my 80 acres where I currently reside, stipulating that he let me live there and has to keep up the residence with all buildings as it is currently being done. Should repairs be necessary on the buildings, then my son Abraham has to get it repaired to his liking with his own fruit into the mill, flour and potatoes have to be brought into the house whenever we want it, and in the autumn he has to give us a fat pig that weighs 200 pounds when she (the pig) is clean at the right slaughter time, and 80 pounds of beef in the fall and 75 pound of salt, all that every year, and the little meadow by the house, one acre (or field), keep it well, fertilize and made hay and put it into the barn. Should we not be able to keep livestock then we give the field to Abraham and he will keep a cow for us and feed it like his own cattle, should that cow have an accident, then he has to give us another one, and my son Johannes has to bring me in as much wood as we need and split it, and my son Johannes has to give annually 50 pounds of sugar, the rest is only as long as we live after the 2 (some type of ferrier equipment) which my son Johannes has in his house he shall keep the iron bridle and iron bars which he has, he can keep and a couple of hundred nails he shall have, but should one of us die, if God wills, then Abraham shall only have to give half of the fruit and meats and also only half of the wood and the two daughters who are still "Benefit Maria" ("Minors" should be translated to mean they were "unmarried and living at home.") Katharina and Irma Margreta shall each receive 25 pounds in money just like the others received, my executors have to give it to them if I cannot give it myself out of my money, and Abraham shall have my saddle and Hannes (common short for Johannes) shall have Abraham's saddle and Elisabeth shall have mother's saddle and Gertraudt shall have the boots, and my clothing shall be divided among the children after my death, and their mother shall be taken care of as long as she live, her household, her bed, her pillow with all the linins in the house and the iron kettles and kitchen items for her use and also her saddle, and Abraham has to give his mother assistance in the garden and has to fertilize and till it just like his own and after death it shall belong to Abraham, for which he as to pay the costs during his Administration as executor, and after my death the children who are here shall divide the books between them, but the book "The True Christendom" is be given to Peter Rauch, and Abraham and Johannes have to give annually fresh sawdust and the rest of the dishes that are around shall all belong to Abraham, and 2 pounds of money, and I have selected my wife, Anna Maria and my son-in-law Jacob Rauch as executors to settle all my affairs properly and pay the land taxes after my death as if I was standing there in person, this my Last Will and Testament I declare to be my free will this 5th day of March, 1811 and to make everything proper and right, I sign my mark to this in front of witnesses.

In 1740 Johann Abraham Bollenbacher sailed from Rotterdam, Germany abroad the ship Loyal Judith at 25 years of age. The Captain of the ship was Lovell Paynter. His name was written Abraham Bulipacker on the ship's list, but on the Captain's manifest and also taking the oath, the name is written Johann Abraham Bollenbacher. He signed his own name on the Captain's list. He was from the Palatinate area of German, and after a trip down the Rhine River, he actually embarked for the New World from Deal, England, where ships for the journey were outfitted. On November 25, 1740, Johann did take and subscribe to the government at the courthouse at Philadelphia. Johann headed inland, settling in the Tulpehocken Region of Berks County, PA. On June 10, 1751, he received a warrant for the 100 acres of land in the County of Philadelphia - later Berks County, Brunswick Township. The original land in adjacent to where the city of Port Clinto now stands. A warrant in 1751 for 155 acres and 74 acres for George Koots was surveyed. This was later resurveyed for Nicholas Bollenbacher on 28 October 1784 for 229 acres.

Below is more information from internet www.genforum.com regarding Bollenbacher: Source: Nancy Jane, njbalmer@aol.com, 9/1/98: Leonhart Kegell was on a ship called the Loyal Judith. Leonhart , wife and children lived in a town called Mehlingen, in Germany. They went down the Rhine River, landed in Rotterdam, Holland, then on to Via Cowes, England. They arrived in America on September 25, 1732 at the Port of Philadelphia, PA. the captain's name was Lovell Paynter. He only sailed on this ship one time. Leonhart and other members of the Reformed Lutheran were accompanied by a minister named Johann Christian Schultz. there were 119 Palatine men and family members on this ship. The Loyal Judith only made 5 trips to America. The last four trips were made by Johann Abraham Bollenbacher, he stayed here in America. I have photo's of Mehlingen that were taken by a friend of mine from church in April 1997. Mehlingen is near Kaiserslautern. Leonhart is said to gone back to get some more of his family and came back to America on the Bilander Townshead October 05, 1737.
