Peter Barnhard. Died, at his residence near Lancaster Ohio on the 3rd of February, in the 76th year of his age, Peter Barnhard. Father Barnhard was a professor of religion about thirty-four years; he lived a constant Christian and sustained a very pious and exemplary life, which he bore with great patience and resignation to the will of the Creator and Redeemer. A short time previous to his death, he summoned his family to his dying bed, and exhorted them to flee the wrath to come. He was kindled into rapture at the prospect of dissolution. He exclaimed, like holy Job, "I know that my Redeemer liveth." E. Vandemark. Mt. Hermon, Feb. 23, 1848.
