FIRST GENERATION

1. Jennie Esther POSTLES was born on February 9, 1851 in Montgomery Twp., Marion Co., Ohio. She married Jeremiah Sims on Sep. 1, 1870 in Marion County, Ohio. She died on November 8, 1923 in Marion, Marion Co., Ohio. She was buried on November 10, 1923 in Grand Prairie Cemetery, Grand Prairie Twp., Marion Co., Ohio. She died one week after she moved to Marion. She had spent her whole life in western Marion County. Her funeral was held at the Baptist Church in Morral, by Rev. C.L.Kettering of Green Camp.

SECOND GENERATION

2. Jesse J. POSTLES was born on July 22, 1819 in Sussex Co., Delaware. He died on July 26, 1901 in Marion, Marion Co., Ohio. He was buried in Frame Cemetery, Meeker, Marion Co., Ohio. THE MARION STAR POSTAL - At Marion, July 26, 1901 Jesse Postal, aged eighty-two years and Four Days. Born near Melford, Delaware, July 22, 1819, married while a resident of Delaware, came to Marion County and settled near Cochranton some Fifty-Five years ago. He was the father of eleven children. His aged wife, three daughters and four sons and many other relatives survive him. The Funeral was held at Cochranton M. E. Church by Rev. J. A. Sutton. Following which interment was held in Cochranton Cemetery. He was married to Nancy Jane WEBB on August 25, 1842 in Sussex Co., Delaware.

3. Nancy Jane WEBB was born on May 27, 1821 in Sussex Co., Delaware. She died after July 26,1901 in Marion, Marion Co., Ohio. She was buried in Frame Cemetery, Meeker, Marion Co., Ohio.

Jesse J. POSTLES and Nancy Jane WEBB had the following children:

i. Henry POSTLES was born on May 24, 1843 in Sussex Co., Delaware.. He married Harriett Stow.

ii. Rachel Ann POSTLES was born on December 31, 1844 in Sussex Co., Delaware. She married William M. Hickman on Oct. 3, 1867 in Marion County, Ohio. She died on September 15, 1926 in Marion, Marion Co., Ohio. She was buried at LaRue, Ohio.

iii. William M. POSTLES was born on March 29, 1847 in Montgomery Twp., Marion Co., Ohio. He married Minerva Jane Holverstott on Dec. 12, 1870 in Marion County, Ohio. He died in 1920 in LaRue, Marion Co., Ohio. He was buried in LaRue, Marion Co., Ohio.

iv. Harriett E. "Hattie" POSTLES was born on October 8, 1849 in Montgomery Twp., Marion Co., Ohio. She married Pleasant Hickman on Mar. 24, 1870 in Marion County, Ohio. She died on May 11, 1877 in DeCliff, Montgomery Twp., Marion Co., Ohio. She was buried in LaRue, Marion Co., Ohio.

vi. Jesse POSTLES was born on August 31, 1855 in Montgomery Twp., Marion Co., Ohio. He married Mary Elizabeth Postles on May 19, 1879 in Marion County, Ohio.

vii. Wheeler POSTLES was born on January 17, 1858 in Montgomery Twp., Marion Co., Ohio. He died on December 1, 1878.

viii. Walter POSTLES was born on April 2, 1860 in Montgomery Twp., Marion Co., Ohio. He married Ida Strawser on Jan. 1, 1882 in Marion County, Ohio.

ix. Olive POSTLES was born on June 11, 1862 in Montgomery Twp., Marion Co., Ohio. She married Chancey Durfee on June 10, 1880 in Marion County, Ohio.

x. Garrett A. POSTLES was born on January 26, 1865 in Montgomery Twp., Marion Co., Ohio. He married Sylvia Jane Alexander on Oct. 19, 1883 in Marion County, Ohio.

xi. John W. POSTLES was born on September 10, 1853 in Montgomery Twp., Marion Co., Ohio. He died on August 1, 1857 in Montgomery Twp., Marion Co., Ohio.

THIRD GENERATION

4. Thomas POSTLES was born about 1782 in Sussex Co., Delaware. He died in Sussex Co., Delaware. Delaware Vol 18 p 351. He was married to Sarah WRIGHT on August 11, 1811 in Sussex Co., Delaware.

5. Sarah WRIGHT was born in Sussex Co., Delaware.

Thomas POSTLES and Sarah WRIGHT had the following children:
